Nuno Olivera was a master horseman. His horsemanship was an Art.
He also had a passion for opera.
His discipline to mastery often informs how I think about painting. The practice. The set up.
I recently heard one story about him. After purchasing a new horse, he went to have lunch with some friends. Over a quick sandwich he figured out how to approach the first day with this horse.
Included in that planning was the specific piece of Verdi he would play in his small arena.
Feel my friends.
Feel.
XOXO,
Francesca
